Nə baş verdi
Ukrayna law enforcement officials said they had notified three additional Russian military commanders in absentia over the 8 July 2024 missile strike on Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. The suspects are Colonel Олег Скітський, commander of the Russian 121st Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment; Colonel Ілля Корягін, deputy commander and chief of staff of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division; and Lieutenant Colonel Олександр Сенченко, chief of staff and deputy commander of the 121st regiment.
Ukrainian investigators said the three coordinated the preparation and execution of the attack using Tu-95MS strategic bombers and ordered subordinates to strike the hospital with an air-launched Kh-101 missile. The missile hit the hospital's treatment building at about 10:45, when children were inside and more than 600 patients were at the hospital.
Two civilians were killed, including a young doctor and the grandfather of a young patient. At least 34 people were injured, including nine children. Two floors of the hospital building and an entrance to a residential apartment building were destroyed, and medical equipment was damaged or destroyed. Across Kyiv that day, 33 people were killed. The suspicions were issued under Part 2 of Article 438 of Ukraine's Criminal Code, which concerns war crimes combined with intentional killing.
